Problem
Initially, Vbrick is offering only video distribution that can take live even with personal video tools. Later they started live streaming and now the stakeholders are planning to make this a big product which they can give capture a video create/upload and distributions. REV product is started with Webcast live.
Research
Researched various existing live-streaming apps. and how the town hall video works, what exactly needed to start live. and where exactly user can upload along with power point slides and speaker view. Live Chat, Live pools, Q and A , and handle all video player tools closed captions, pause, mute, resume sessions.
Conducted user interviews and gather information from stakeholders and business leads. Mapping all this information.
Mostly My research are below 3 key areas
- Observation: observe the user to pick up on unspoken signals or behavioral clues as to how they are feeling.
- Understanding: Throughout research, seek to understand the user’s mental model.

In order to chat window, there is Q/A board that attendees can ask questions and moderators push that questions to speaker view. Speaker can address those questions that will useful for all audiences.

Any Spell mistakes or if they want to add or delete new slides of if they add more moderators, or add instant polls or change the color settings.
Attendees
Easily access all attendees and remove and add again from the list . and can reply private messages.

This is new interaction that added by me by taking feedback with few users that they are clueless about what is happening behind the scenes and how long they need to wait and how they can handle the errors and retry options.
Connected : user can see if they are intiated the live or not. this will be a very quick, but most of the time they can RETRY if any failed login authentication
Live- Recording: Recording happening or not. if yes green or else asking to record or retry if any error.
Upload: Uploading a live video to upload to REV and can access immediately to share the video. This design helps the user not in a confused mode that what is happening behind the scenes.

Setting Page Redesign. Draggable controls during the webcast live events. Branding the webcast with user color coding. more integrated with other meetings like zoom, User engagements like live reactions, live comments, live announcements.
