Product Redesign

Problem

When I joined Vbrick as a UX UI Lead, company  preference is who can handle Product complete redesign and also company website. The product is already in market since 10 years. But its a fact technology is changing and we need to adopt that into the product to gain the many new LOGO’s in our website and also not loosing existing users. 

Research

Here Research is two parts, 

1. What is the latest technologies to use for this Product redesign that helps next generations. 

2. How is and how fast user can access this product without messy tables and confusions. 

 

Participated Key-role to choose the best technologies to enhance the Product. Deeply dig into the whole Product and understand the need and conducted various exiting users and also met with VP of IT department and brainstorming sessions with front and backend developers. 

Used some out of the company resources for good technical stronger who can advice and get strong on what we decided.  Also deep drive into other competitive products overview that helps us what missing and what is the most value to our product and how user having issues with current product.

 

Almost 2 months i spent to conduct interview and wireframes and low fidelity whiteboard ideas.  I love whiteboard that makes me clear view of the idea and that helps me to show the ideas to the other team members and can easily understand the concept.

 

Conducted few existing users interviews, after designing the high fidelity interactive designs. The biggest success of my career is the one of the biggest client joined in REV club after seeing the these wireframe interactive design flow.

STYLE GUIDE HANDOFF

Branding and theming  

As a designer I need to handed over to the developer al style guides and there’s multiple layers of information that needs to be conveyed. In addition to the Mockups and Specs+Assets, one must also share the Interactions, Copy, and a Checklist. All these cover different aspects of the design solution and need to be collated in one, simple, accessible document that sits on the cloud. We can call it the Design Handoff Document.
